MBusRepeater-XL, models 45, 80, 120, 190
Repeater for M-Bus networks
The repeater splits the M-Bus line into two galvanically separated M-Bus lines and enables message transfer between these two lines without message content changes. In case of a malfunction state on the M-Bus line (e.g. a short) this state willl not be carried over to the second separated line. On the primary line the repeater acts electrically as 2 slave devices (2 UL) - slave port. The separated line uses a standard M-Bus master port. Depending on repeater model the M-Bus master port has a connection capacity for 45, 80, 120 or 190 M-Bus devices.
The M-Bus repeater features a processor controlled monitoring of internal state, power supply state and M-Bus master port state. Operation and error states are indicated by status LEDs which simplify and make it easier to troubleshoot possible M-Bus communication errors.

Guarantee of quality
EMC compatibility of the M-Bus converter has been tested according to the following industrial environment standards.
* test carried out at the request of the manufacturer. The M-Bus port of the repeater has an increased durability against overvoltage. Carrying out this type of test is not required with the use of shield cable.
